Our Lafayette office is brand new, but the team behind it is anything but. Pelican Pediatric Dentistry has been caring for Louisiana children since 1986, and we built this north Lafayette location so that more families could access the same residency-trained providers, the same comfort-first philosophy, and the same community-rooted care without the long drive. We're located on the north side of Lafayette, right in the middle of the communities we serve, including Scott, Carencro, Duson, and Breaux Bridge. Whether your child is coming in for their first cleaning or needs a little extra support, our team is here to make sure they leave happy and you leave confident.

Dr. Chris Savoy, a Louisiana native, completed his pediatric residency at Children's Hospital in New Orleans and returned home to grow Pelican into the practice it is today. Dr. Brown, who founded Pelican in 1986, remains an active part of our team and brings a depth of community trust that is rare in any specialty practice. Dr. Hebert and Dr. Bernard together bring close to 30 years of experience caring for children, and all four providers work across both our Lafayette and New Iberia locations. When you come to Pelican in Lafayette, you're getting the full team, not a satellite.
